As you saw in my last blog, my journey from Automobile to Mechanical Engineering had an unexpected twist. Here’s the story.

During my decision-making process, an enticing option emerged: Computer Science Engineering. Given the trend and lucrative packages in the tech industry, the appeal was undeniable. πŸ“ˆπŸ’ΌMy good marks in the diploma meant I had a strong chance of securing a seat in this sought-after branch. However, this also meant venturing into a completely new field, one that required a significant learning curve.πŸ“šπŸ”„

The allure of Computer Science was strong. The rapid advancements in technology, the promise of innovation, and the high salaries were all compelling factors. πŸš€πŸ’‘Friends and family pointed out the booming demand for software engineers and the exciting prospects in the tech world. It was a tempting path, especially with the industry’s continuous growth and the opportunities it offered globally.πŸŒπŸ’°

Yet, the idea of shifting to an entirely different domain was daunting. 😟My foundation was firmly in mechanical principles and automobile systems, and the thought of starting from scratch in a new discipline was intimidating.πŸ› ️πŸ”§ I knew it would involve a lot of hard work and a steep learning curve. Despite the potential rewards, I wasn’t sure if diving into Computer Science was the right choice for me at this stage.🀷‍♂️🀯

After much contemplation, I decided to stay true to my passion for machinery and innovation.πŸš—πŸ’‘ Mechanical Engineering, with its broad scope and versatility, felt like the right path. It bridged my interest in automobiles and offered diverse career opportunities.  πŸŒŸ I was confident that this field would not only align with my existing knowledge but also allow me to explore various sectors like manufacturing, energy, and aerospace.🏭⚡✈️
